I took in NextEnergy's Michigan Advanced Lighting Conference recently to find out about the advances being made in the
lighting industry. "The key driver that's shaping the industry today are LED's," says Mark Roush, the conference's keynote speaker. "LED's are changing the shape of the industry and doing so very quickly." Roush says lighting is often an afterthought to most consumers, and that "it's not a low interest category; it's a low involvement category. Once people get involved and find out what light can do, their interest goes very high and they get excited about the possibilities."
